At present the campus at Puranattukara offers the courses of Prak Sastri (Intermediate), Sastri(B.A), Siksha Sastri (B.Ed), Acharya(M.A) in the disciplines of Vedanta, Sahitya, Vyakarana and Nyaya.The Doctoral research Vidya Varidhi(Ph.D.) is also offered.
The campus offers modern subjects such as History, English, Malayalam, Computer Science and Environmental Studies for equipping the students with multi-faceted talent. Short term certificate courses in Bharatiya Jyothisha is also being conducted in the main center of the Campus.
Sansthan has introduced a buffer course, called Prak-Sastri , in which a student, who has passed class X of a Board Examination and has no previous background of Sanskrit, may be admitted. This is a two year course (XI & XII). »
Student who has passed either Uttar Madhyama or Prak–Sastri or equivalent examination with Sanskrit may be admitted to Sastri , which is a three-year course. »
A student who has passed either Sastri or equivalent examination with Sanskrit may be admitted to Siksha Sastri , which is a one year course. »
A student who has passed Sastri or B.A. with Sanskrit may be admitted to Acharya, which corresponds to M.A., but is restricted to specialization in a particular sastra. »
A student who has passed Acharya or equivalent examination with Sanskrit may be admitted to Vidya Varidhi , This is equivalent to Ph.D. »
To learn Sanskrit irrespective of age, sex and qualification, introductory courses consisting of 21 and 20 lessons respectively are conducted every year. The lessons are in English/Hindi.
The introductory courses cover all the important items of Sanskrit language and grammar. The session of the course starts in January and ends in October. The advertisement of admission is given in leading news papers. The admission starts from 1st November and ends by 31st December.
The leaners residing in India and abroad have to pay a nominal fee of Rs. 250/- and $50.00 respectively.
According to the plan of the couse, a candidate having good knowledge in Hindi or English is eligible for admission to first year course. For admission to the second year course a candidate should have completed the first year introductory course or sholud have elementary knowledge.
